Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer, where you answer a question and join a “hop”. The purpose is to help bloggers discover and get to know one another.
For this week’s question, Michelle @ Life Among the Pages asked:
If you were to dress up as a literary figure {author or character} for Halloween, who would it be?
My answer:
This is my first Halloween at my new job, and I’ve been told that they take it VERY seriously.
This year, my team is actually dressing up as literary characters! Unfortunately though, it’s a secret. I’m not sure if anyone at my work reads this blog, but to play it safe, I won’t spill the beans here.
I will say that it’s one of my all time favorite series, so I am PUMPED. Hopefully in my monthly recap I’ll share some photos. But stay tuned to my Instagram, if I take photos, I’ll definitely share them there first!
If you’re looking for an idea for a literary related costume, but don’t have much money to spend, check out my post, Literary Halloween Costumes You May Already Have In Your Closet.
Thanks for reading!
Which genre would you pick?
My work takes halloweem serious too!
Wahoo!! I hope you share photos too! π
My interest is piqued! *^-^*
π
Sounds fun. Make sure to take plenty of pics!
For sure!! π
Have fun at your Halloween event. Are you a teacher?
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! And no, I'm in marketing π
Ok…sounds like you work with a fun team. π
π
Ooooh I cannot wait to see what you are for Halloween this year E! <3 π
My Book Blogger Hop!
π
Oh I can't wait to hear who you dress up as! My company was very mixed when it came to Halloween. Some people went full out and some didn't do anything. I usually wore a tiara and announced that I was a princess.
I'm very interested to see how into it my company will get. This is my first Halloween with them! π
Now I'm wondering what book series inspired your costume!
π Stay tuned! Our Halloween party is this Friday! π
What fun. Hope you have a good time and can't wait to see your outfit.
Thank you! π
Oooo! Iβm excited to see what it is!
π
The last time I dressed up for Halloween was when I was ten for a school party! Halloween isn't really a thing in my part of Scotland!
π
Oh, that sounds like SO much FUN!!! I'm glad your job is so supportive of dressing up for Halloween! I'll have to be sneaky about that at my job…. π
I read your post about literary costumes already in one's closet. GREAT post! My favorite costume is Madeline. It's SO ADORABLE!! But I think I'd need to visit several vintage second-hand stores to get that kind of hat and dress. Lol.
Thanks for sharing, and for commenting on my own BBH post!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! <3 π
I'm so excited to take part for the first time with my new company this year! π And oh, thank you!! Happy Halloween to you as well!
I can't wait to see your photos. π
π
Well now I'm dying to know what you are all dressing as. Yes, please to pictures!
π
Yes, you must share pictures! My friend is having a couple's Halloween themed Wedding Shower next week and all the bridesmaids are being witches, so I'm excited. π

π Ooh! That sounds SO fun!! Enjoy!!
I'm not sure who/what I'd pick. Maybe Dorothy from Wizard of Oz? I think I like the idea of sparkly red shoes.
