May absolutely flew by!
One of my focuses was to continue to do the social media purge that I began in April. I started out by continuing to review my connections on all social platforms keeping connections with those that I actively engage with or care to see in my feeds, though I’m sure I still have some more work to do. I deleted my accounts on a few phone apps that I wasn’t enjoying being part of. Then I ended up taking the Twitter and Facebook apps off my phone.
Let me tell you… this was SO refreshing and I can tell that it’s been AMAZING for my mental health. As a bonus, it has freed up loads of time where I can read and cope with pregnancy.
Speaking of, we hit 20 weeks this month and celebrated with a little half-baked photoshoot! I am equally shocked that we’re already but also only halfway…
Let’s dive in!

I didn’t know you were pregnant! Congratulations! That’s so exciting. I’ve been doing a social media cleanse too recently.

Thank you! <3 Ugh, isn't is SO refreshing?!

Congrats again on your pregnancy. I am so happy for you! I’m about to remove Twitter from my phone and use it online to post bookish things. No more scrolling. I’ve wasted so many hours of my life on that app and it has caused me so much stress it’s ridiculous.

Thank you!! <3 And same. I couldn't help but doom scroll alllll the time. There's just too much darn drama all the time! Someone reamed me out a couple months ago for unfollowing them, and that was my breaking point with social media. I'm there for friends, books, and fun. I don't want to feel obligated to follow people because they follow me. That's so toxic! Now, I just pop on when I'm on my computer now to post about books and scroll for a minute or two to see what's up, looking for positive things. Then I make myself log off. My private list of accounts I care about has been really nice to have! I mainly just go check in on that 🙂 You're on there of course!!
