Thank you all so much for your patience while my blog was under construction! I’m so excited to say that I am officially back up and running!
Over the next few weeks, I will be tweaking a few things here and there to add more customization. But feel free to poke around, and let me know if there are things you would like to see, things you would fix, or any other comments! I’d love the feedback!
I’d also greatly appreciate any WordPress tips and tricks since I’m a total newbie!
The Process
For those of you that asked me to keep you posted, I’m so trilled to say that I cannot recommend Lisette Harrington at HighNoteDesignsLLC highly enough!
You all know how anxious I was to make the switch… When I first saw the service listing, I read through all of the elements offered and couldn’t believe that it was all being offered for such a reasonable price point. Then of course I read the testimonials and immediately felt that this was a very trustworthy person, so I placed my order.
In my receipt, there was a link to a wonderfully organized form that asked a number of great questions and requested log in for a few key areas. Just by filling out this form, I had a feeling that this was going to be a great process. The form also steered me in the right direction to sign up or purchase elements that would be needed, such as hosting services and website security.
Shortly after I clicked to submit, Lisette reached out to me to set a date for the transition. During the process, Lisette would email if she needed anything or had any questions about my blog. She would also run certain things by me to make sure that we were on the same page. A few times, I asked her for advice as I wasn’t sure how I wanted to proceed, and she gave me wonderful tips and examples so I could make a decision.
The entire process was so streamlined and Lisette truly made this transition very easy for me. I really appreciated how willing she was to dig a little deeper to make sure I was 100% happy with the my blog before going live with it, and I am so grateful for all of Lisette’s help! I certainly couldn’t have completed this without her.

Congrats! Looking good! I know its a stressful thing to move a blog and glad to hear you had great support. I’ve found it fairly easy to learn the basics of WordPress, but there are so many bells and whistles to play around with a — I know I’ve only scratched the surface.

Yayyyyy you did the thing and made the jump! I’m using BookHost from Ashley @ NoseGraze, and it’s so nice to have someone to turn to when you need help if needed because WordPress to Blogger when you don’t know what you’re doing is a SCARY process.

I am glad that moving your blog over has worked so well for you! It can be really tricky – I remember from when I had to do it for my own blog. But it sounds like you managed to get everything worked out in the end. At the moment your bloglovin isn’t connecting up well – for some reason it keeps saying your page didn’t respond when I open it. Not sure what happened there but thought to mention it to you in case I’m not the only one. It’s with your new bloglovin page.
